Objective : Information on "Marketing Techniques in Agriculture"
Target Group : Representatives from governmental agencies, civil society organisations and the private sector
From 22 November to 3 December 2004, a training seminar on "International Marketing" was held in Sanliurfa, covering representatives from governmental agencies, civil society organisations and the private sector The training was delivered by experts from Israel and the event was organised jointly by the Presidency of GAP Regional Development Administration and Israeli Embassy There were 19 participants to the seminar which took two weeks including theoretical and applied parts
During the seminar which was conducted with the intensive involvement and contribution of participants, in addition to theoretical issues covered, the group also visited various market sports and marketing channels in Sanliurfa, KOCATA Feedlot and Uludag Organic Farming Enterprise On the final day of the programme, participants presented three implementation projects (marketing of pistachio, tomato and tomato products and organic farming crops) which they developed during their training
