Camcıoğlu was born into a family that served the Svvedish legation throughout the 18th century

On behalf of Celsing, it was the first dragoman Pierre who bought the Svvedish Palace in 1757

İn 1790 he figures in the list of persons under Svvedish protection and in 1802 he is mentioned as one of the city’s most promi-nent Armenians
