INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION - IV (27 - 29 March 2002)
Objective : To build awareness and relevant skills in intercultural communication and capitalizing on relevant experience in the context of GAP region and Turkey

Targets :

Building capacity for project implementation in the field of intercultural communication,
Informing participants about culture and communication issues and improving communication skills,
Emphasizing cultural differences to improve skills in strategy development and formulation,
Displaying experiences in intercultural communication in the GAP region and in Turkey,
Building teamwork, decision-making and conflict management skills in staff with different cultural characteristics

Participants to this training included the representatives of civil society organizations active in the planning and implementation of various projects in the GAP region, staff from relevant governmental organizations and agencies as well as staff working in the GAP RDA

The training seminar took place at GAP Zeugma Facilities in Birecik from 27 to 29 March 2002 under the sponsorship of the British Embassy
