As the tests have indicated, the cooling performance o­n the Arctic Fans was much greater than with the Antec Tri-Cool fan An interesting point to note is that with the air duct inside of the case, the cooling performance slightly got worse than without it An important point is that at a lower rpm than the Tri-Cool fan, the Arctic Fan 12 was able to cool more efficiently, while remaining whisper quiet After the Arctic Fan 9 was installed, there was virtually no increase in noise, thanks to the rubber dampening system used All in all, the Arctic Fan is possibly the quitest fan to date

There are minor difference between the Arctic fan and the Papst fan But the Papst fan is much more expensive as the Arctic fan They both transport equal air out, I couldn't find big difference between the both fans So the winner is the Arctic fan! These fans are just great, I have never heard fans this quiet Thanks to the new design Arctic Cooling has really been able to produce some monster fans when it comes to quietness These fans move more than enough fan and can be compared to Zalman etc, but soundwise there is nothing that can beat them Making the fan into two different pieces and putting them together with rubber clips makes it able to remove vibration and alot of noise and still maintain the good air flow and even maximize it with the new build o­n the fan case Overall we give these fans 5 out of 5 and our editors choice award for super fans that are quiet but still move alot of air so you can keep your computer running cool with low noise

In terms of high airflow with little noise, it appears to do the job better than anything else o­n the market that we know of The huge airflow this fan creates at a low RPM is what really impressed me There is barley any need to turn it over 50% speed, at which speed its about as quiet as a sleeping baby You can see here how it compares to some of the other silent fans o­n the market This fan comes highly recommended by DoomedPC for all your air pulling needs
