In Fatava-i Kadıhan, it is said that if the child is too little to travel or it is dangerous for him to go for a different reason, parents can hinder him, but when the problem is sorted out, he can be allowed to go

The father has priority in respect and the mother in service

So the person must have no respect in respect to the father and in service for the mother

He must try not to upset them as far as possible if they are wrong
