World Water Day-Water For Development
 

* ÇATOM AND YOUTH AND CULTURE CENTERS
On the occasion of the World Water Day, the GAP Multi-Center Community Centers as well as Youth and Culture Centers will also be organizing various activities. These activities include a questionnaire to be applied by Batman ÇATOM to urban dwellers and ÇATOM participants to assess different approaches to efficient water utilization, and seminars to be given in schools on water use with the cooperation of provincial education directorates. These activities will be accompanied by informal talks on water and water use with local women in various parts of the region with the support of provincial health directorates as well as plantation and re-vegetation in the gardens and yards of CATOMs.
Mardin Central ÇATOM and Youth/Culture Center will also organize informal meetings with women and young people to discuss issues related to water. There will be a painting exhibition on the theme "Water for Development". Diyarbakir Youth and Culture Center will be involved in various activities including plantings, informal meetings and painting exhibition. Finally, the Youth and Culture Center in Sanliurfa will, in addition to similar activities, also undertake the organization of the event to take place in the city.
