* 16. ARCHEOLOGICAL PROTECTION IN WATER BASED DEVELOPMENT AND THE EXPERINCE OF ZEUGMA
Objective : To share experience and technical information regarding archaeological protection and salvage work of Zeugma.
Target groups included technical staff from organizations engaged in development activities in the region, professionals such as archeologists, historians, restoration staff, architects, etc.; and staff from the Ministry of Culture, General Directorate of Foundations, Private Museums and relevant departments of universities.
The GAP RDA and Archaeological Protection Center (CCA-Roma) organized this activity in Sanliurfa on 4 - 5 March 2003.
