Objective : To discuss on the concept "social capital" and sharing ideas and different experiences in important issues related to the concept.
Scope :


An Overview of Social Dimension in Large-Scale Regional and Social Development Projects,
Examples from Work Conducted by Eastern Mediterranean Countries on "Social Capital Formation in Regional Projects",
"Social Capital Formation in GAP"; there was also a round table discussion and a field trip accompanying the seminar.


Seminar sponsored by the International Development Research Center (IDRC) was jointly organized by the GAP RDA and Eastern Mediterranean University in Sanliurfa on 2 - 4 May 2001.
There was also a round table discussion and field visit in the GAP Region as a part of the program.
