Remove 8800GT stock cooler.

Remove stock coolers screws.

Clean thermal paste thoroughly off the RAM.

Unpeel the backing off the RAM heatsinks and stick them to each RAM. For RAMs above the GPU, use the flat version of the RAM heatsinks.

Apply the include other RAM sinks.

Apply the include PWN-Heat sinks.

Stick the transparent adhesive to the backplate as shown in the picture.

Affix the backplate to the back of the video card.

Apply a thin layer of thermal paste to top of the GPU heatsinks base.

Attach the bracket mount to the heatsink

Then insert the black washers through the screws from the other side.

Use the screw caps to secure heatsink in place.

From the topside of the card, insert the cross-shaped backplate through the four screws.


Secure the heatsink using the screw caps

The difference in installation between 3870 and 3850 is in the type of thermal tape on the RAM sinks.
Remove stock coolers screws.

Remove stock cooler Heat sink. Clean thermal paste thoroughly off the GPU RAM.

Apply other included A, B, C RAM sinks.



Apply the PWM IC heatsinks. For 3870, you can choose to keep the stock PWN-IC Heat sinks.
Fan Installation
- STEP 1-

Fan wire holes on the heatsink..

Insert the fan wire ends into fan wire holes on the heatsink



- STEP 3-
Place the 92mm fan on top of heatsink. Pull fan wire to hook into fan mounting holes.
