Hareket-Yön Bildiren Edatlar - Prepositions
İngilizcede hareket bildiren edatlar bize bir hareketin şeklini ya da nereye, hangi yöne doğru yapıldığını gösteren ifadelerdir. Aşağıda bunlardan bazılarını sıraladık:
- across: karşısında, içinden, ortasından
- along: boyunca
- down: aşağıya doğru, boyunca
- into: içine, içeriye
- off: den, dan, dışında, haricinde
- over: üstünde, üzerinde, üstüne, üzerinden, aracılığı ile, boyunca, baştan sona
- out of: den dışarı, den, den dolayı, dolayı, dışında
- past: ötesinde, öte, yanından geçerek
- round: çevresinde, etrafında, yakında, yakınında
- through: bir uçtan bir uca, sayesinde, içinden, arasından, yüzünden
- under: altından, aşağısına
- up: yukarı, yukarıya
Örnek ifadeler:- Across the river: nehrin karşısında
- Along the yellow line: sarı şerit boyunca
- Down the mountain: dağdan aşağıya
- Into the river: nehrin içine
- Off the bike: bisikletten aşağıya inmek
