Mastodon looks for an early 2009 album release

Mastodon [ tickets ] will release their new album, "Crack The Skye," early in 2009, according to a press release. The seven-song, 50-minute album follows the band's 2006 release, "Blood Mountain."
The band also announced it will be supporting labelmates Metallica on a European tour in the summer of 2009
